OFFICE MEMEORANDUM
Subject: Engagement of Retired Government Officials as Section Officer on retainer-ship basis in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation – extension of last date for submission of application
The undersigned is directed to circulate the Office Memorandum No.A41020/1/2019-Admin dated 27.12.2019 (alongwith enclosures) received from Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation wherein it is proposed to engage retired Government Officials as Section Officer on retainership basis in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
In case of any further clarification, applicants are requested to contact the concerned Ministry / Department.

It is proposed to engage retired Government employees to work as Retainers against the vacant posts of Section officers (SO) in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation per the following criteria:
(a) Must have retired from Central Government Ministries /Departments.
(b) Must have retired as So or above and well acquainted with functioning of Government Ministries.
(c) Should have good communication and interpersonal skills and excellent knowledge of Computer usage.
(d) Work profile and responsibility would he similar to post in the Central Government.
